The challenge herein to the order directing the petitioner to pay his wife interim maintenance of Rs.6,000/- per month. The petitioner is the retired lecturer. He also holds an agricultural land. Although he has come with a case that some agricultural land has been given to Respondent No2. - wife, there is prima facie nothing to indicate the same being in her possession and she gets income therefrom.

Considering the quantum of maintenance, this Court is not inclined even to issue notice. Criminal writ petition, therefore, dismissed. ( R.G. AVACHAT, J. ) SSD 1 / 1
