The petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite passing of the award under the National Highways Act, 1956 and they having been served with the notice of disbursement and in spite of they having raised an objection way back in July 2022, the respondent No.1 Competent Authority under the Act is not passing any final order as contemplated under Section 3-H (4) or any other order.

Learned advocate Mr. Bangar who appears for the respondent No.1 submits that if no order has been passed as yet the respondent No.1 would pass appropriate order within reasonable time. 3.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.1 to pass final order pursuant to the objection being raised by the petitioner as expeditiously as possible and in any event within four weeks if it is not already passed.
