By filing affidavit in reply dated 12.10.2023, Respondent No. 1 has informed that the Collector has taken a decision to cancel the acquisition of land of the petitioner. The order of cancellation is also placed on record. In that view of the matter, nothing survives in Contempt Petition and Contempt Petition is disposed of.

Petitioner is entitled to avail remedy available in law, if he intends to challenge the said order.
