PER COURT :- The instant petition relates to recording of mutation entries. It is observed that Regular Civil Suit No.85/93 was instituted by the respondent in the Civil Court. There also appears to be another Civil litigation in the form of RCS No.194/92.

It is well established principle that the revenue entries in themselves cannot form evidence of title or entitlement of any party in relation to the property and the entries are recorded for fiscal purposes. The revenue entries can be corrected in accordance with determination of the rights by the competent Civil Courts in the pending civil proceedings. In this view of the matter, the instant petition deserves to be disposed of by observing that the revenue entries those are already recorded, can be corrected in consonance with the decision of the civil Court. Keeping option of the parties to avail of remedies available in law open, writ petition is disposed of. Rule is discharged.

In the facts of the case, there shall be no order as to costs. Pending Civil application does not survive and stands disposed of. ( R. M. BORDE, J. ) vbd
