ORDER:

This application takes exception to the crime No. 156 of 2016 registered with Pachora Police Station District Jalgaon for the offences punishable under sections 498-A, 323, 504 and 506 read with section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. This application is filed by the applicants, in the month of December, 2016, however, it came to be registered on 11th January, 2017. The learned APP for State informs this court that Investigating Officer has filed the charge-sheet in the Court on 22-11-2016, before filing of the present application.

In that view of the matter, to save the valuable time of this court and also to facilitate the trial court to proceed further with

2 Cri.A-257-17 pending proceedings, we are of the opinion that, in case, the applicants are advised to file application for discharge, they can file application for discharge before the concerned court within two weeks from today. In case, such application is filed by the applicants, the concerned court shall decide the same in accordance with law and on its merits within eight weeks from filing of such application. The liberty granted today to the applicants would be available only for two weeks from today. 3.

With above observations, we are not inclined to grant any relief as prayed for in this application, by the applicants. The application stands rejected.
