Learned Additional Government Pleader accepts notice for all Respondents.

Mr.Kale, learned counsel submits that the petitioners have filed application seeking rental compensation with the authority and the same is also received by the Respondent Nos.2 and 3 on 12.1.2016, however, no decision has been taken on it as yet. Mr.Kale, learned counsel submits that there is no appeal pending against the Award.

Learned Additional Government Pleader states that in case the said application is pending, the authority would take decision

upon it.

In case the application filed by the petitioners (Exh.D) is pending with Respondent No.2 then the Respondent No.2 shall decide the same on its own merits in accordance with law expeditiously, preferably within four (4) months. Upon decision being taken, if it is held that the petitioners are entitled for rental compensation then the same shall be paid to the petitioners expeditiously within a period of six (6) months from the date of determination.
