The petitioner is approaching this Court merely for a relief on account of pendency of his application with the respondent No.2 - Collector, purportedly filed under Rule 3(1) of the Maharashtra Electricity Works of Licence Rules, 2012, which he had filed on 09.02.2022.

The learned Advocate for respondent No.3 - MSEDCL - Mr. Bajaj appears suo motu. The petitioner is not seeking relief against it. 4.

We dispose of the writ petition by directing the respondent No.2 - Collector to pass appropriate orders on the petitioner's application (Exhibit A) dated 09.02.2022, as expeditiously as possible and in any case, within a period of sixteen weeks.
