Learned counsel Shri. Mundhe for the applicant submits that applicant and the victim amicably settled the matter. Since offence is not compoundable, compromise was not accepted and the applicant was convicted by the learned JMFC. The said order has been confirmed by the learned Appellate Court. Considering the pandemic situation and that the matter is not likely to come for hearing in the near future, I am inclined to suspend the sentence. Hence the order.

ORDER

1.

Substantive sentence of the applicant is rev7.22.odt

suspended till the disposal of the revision.

2.

Applicant be released on bail on his furnishing PR bond of Rs. 15,000/- (Rupees Fifteen Thousand only) with one solvent surety in the like amount.

Bail in Trial Court.
