The petitioners had filed application under Section 30 of the Land Acquisition Act with the Collector on 21.12.2018.

It appears that the provision has been wrongly quoted. The same ought to be an application under 76 of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013. The Collector shall consider the said application (Page No.48) to be under Section 76 of the Right to Fair Compensation Act and shall take steps in accordance with the provisions of Section 76 of the Right to Fair Compensation Act. The petitioner is also permitted to file fresh application in that regard. 3.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
