It appears that, pursuant to the directions issued by this Court on 04/01/2022, proposal for acquisition of land of the petitioner was submitted by respondent No.3 on 05/01/2022. However, in spite of repeated reminders charges for measurement were not deposited. Ultimately the measurement charges of Rs.1,03,500/- were deposited on 08/12/2025. Respondent No.3 has tendered unconditional apology for delay caused in depositing the measurement charges.

Learned AGP states that since the measurement charges are now deposited the measurement will be conducted and further acquisition process will be initiated immediately thereafter. SVH

The measurement shall be carried out on or before 05/01/2026. As the land of the petitioner is acquired by way of private negotiation, the process be completed and the amount shall be disbursed within six months from today. With these directions the contempt petition is disposed of.

We make it clear that if the time stipulation mentioned in this order is not complied with, the same will be treated as aggravated form of contempt.
