By the present application under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, the applicant seeks his release on bail, in connection with C.R. No.260 of 2016, registered with Nandurbar City Police Station, Dist. Nandurbar, for offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 3.

The applicant, aged about 70 years, is a medical practitioner. There are no criminal antecedents. The offence is based on documents. Pursuant to the interim protection granted by this Court, the applicant has

criap278.17 (2) attended the Investigation. In view thereof, ad interim protection ordered by this Court on 1st February, 2017 stands confirmed. Hence, following order :- In the event of arrest of the applicant, in connection with C.R. No. 260 of 2016, registered with Nandurbar City Police Station, Dist. Nandurbar, for offences punishable under Sections 420, 406, 467, 468, 471 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code, he be released on bail, on furnishing P.R. Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one or two sureties for the like amount.

The applicant shall attend the Investigating Officer as and when directed.
