By order passed on 14 September 2023 in Writ Petition No. 8534 of 2023 and connected writ petitions, this Court had permitted the candidates who were involved in the TET scam and who were possessing CTET qualification or were graduated with D. Ed. to participate in the recruitment portal known as Pavitra Portal.

Similarly placed petitioners from some petitions from the Principal Seat of this Court (234) and Nagpur Bench of this High Court (89) were accordingly on the basis of similar orders permitted registration on the Pavitral Portal, but the petitioners were not.

The learned A. G. P. now tenders across the bar a communication received by him from the Joint Secretary of the School Education and Sports Department of the State of Maharashtra dated 12 January 2024, whereby, the petitioners have been permitted to register on the Pavitra Portal. 4.

Since the portal is being operated by the Commissioner of Education, Pune, he shall take appropriate and immediate steps so that the petitioners and similarly placed individuals are

6 cp 31.24 permitted to register on the Pavitral Portal. The action shall be taken as early as possible and preferably within a period of three

(03) days from today.

In view of the above, nothing survives for adjudication in the present contempt petitions. The contempt petitions as such are disposed of.
