1] We have heard Shri Sachin Deshmukh, learned counsel for the petitioner. The learned counsel for the petitioner states that pursuant to the advertisement issued by the respondent no.1, the petitioner had filled in the application for the post of Junior Laboratory Chemist from the special backward category. The claim of the petitioner is also validated by the committee. The
WP 667/11 2 petitioner secured 41 marks. The respondent no.2 had secured only 34 marks. Still the respondent no.2 was selected though having secured less marks. The petitioner ought to have been selected. According to the learned counsel, the selection process was not transparent.
2] We have heard the learned counsel for the respondent no.1.
3] The respondent no.2 is selected for the post reserved for women category. The petitioner certainly could not have competed with the respondent no.2 as the respondent no.2 has been selected for the post reserved for the women category.
