Heard. The learned counsel for petitioners submits that, the petitioners had filed applications seeking rental compensation with the respondent No. 2, however, the same are not yet decided. The first application is filed in the year 2010. Thereafter again applications are filed in the year 2013. 2.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader accepts notice for the respondent No. 1.

The petitioners may file fresh applications seeking rental with the competent authority. In case such applications are filed by petitioners seeking rental compensation, then the authority

2 wp 1332.17 shall decide the same on its own merits and in accordance with law expeditiously and preferably within a period of eight (08) months from the date of receipt of applications after hearing all the parties concerned.
