DATE : 21ST FEBRUARY, 2017.
PER COURT :
.
Mrs. Deshpande, the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents/State states that, subsequently, the Government has issued Government Resolution dated 12.02.2015, wherein directions are given to maintain the status quo and committee was appointed to make recommendation. The committee has submitted report and fresh decision would be taken by the Government.
2.
We have heard Mr. Sonavane, Mr. Gaware and Mr. Kasar, the learned counsel appearing for respective petitioners. 3.
As the Government has already taken policy decision to maintain status quo and further committee is also appointed to submit its recommendations and on the basis of the said recommendations the Government is to take fresh decision. In
4 wp 250.15 view of that, it will be of no avail to decide the present petitions on merits.
4.
Needless to state, in case if a fresh decision is taken by the Government pursuant to the recommendations of the committee appointed and the said decision goes adverse to the interest of petitioners, it will be open for petitioners to assail the same. So also if that decision is adverse to the interest of petitioners, no adverse action be taken for a period of fifteen (15) days from the date of decision of the Government. The writ petitions accordingly are disposed of. No costs.
