In view of subsequent developments, the petition has become infructuous. Due to the Covid-90 pandemic, the State Government had postponed the Elections of all the Co-operative Societies. Vide order dated 30-09-2021, the Government has lifted the ban on the Election and the State Election Authority has directed to conduct the pending elections of all the Co-operative Societies, included in phase-2 and has fixed 30-092021 as the cut of date for preparation of the provisional voters list. 2.

In that view of the matter, the challenge raised in the petition has rendered infructuous.

The learned advocate for the petitioners however submits that the Authorities are expected to call record from the concerned Societies before preparing the provisional voters list. This is the routine procedure followed by the Authorities, which the Authorities shall follow. 4.

Writ Petition is disposed off as infructuous. 5.

Interim relief order stands vacated.
