The petitioners'/schools claiming to have admitted students sent to them under the provisions of the RTE Act, are seeking reimbursement in the light of Section 12 of the Right of Children to Free and Compulsory Education Act, 2009.

We have heard the learned Advocate for the petitioners, the learned AGP and the learned Advocate Mr.Pulkundwar, who appears for respondent No.3.

The petition is disposed of directing respondent No.3 to scrutinize the petitioners' proposals and if they are found entitled to have the reimbursement, process it as expeditiously as possible so as to reimburse them, in any case within 6 weeks. If the petitioners are found entitled to have it, respondent Nos. 1 and 2 shall reimburse it within 6 weeks thereafter.
