CORAM: R.M. BORDE AND A.I.S. CHEEMA, JJ.

DATE : 4TH FEBRUARY, 2016 ORDER :

1.

The Petitioner is objecting to the notice - cum order of termination issued by the Management on 15th January 2015. This Court, while entertaining the Petition, directed the parties to

maintain status quo, by an order dated 21st January 2015. Since the order issued by the Management is in respect of termination of services of employee, it is appropriate and desirable for him to avail of the alternate remedies available in law.

2.

The interim relief passed by this Court on 21st January 2015 shall remain operative for FIFTEEN DAYS from today. It is clarified that this Court has not examined the merits of the contentions raised by the parties in this Petition and it would be open for the Tribunal to consider an application for grant of interim relief on its own merits and in accordance with the provisions of law. It is also clarified that merely because this Court has intervened in the matter on 21st January 2015 shall not preclude the Tribunal from considering the merits of the contentions of the parties.

3.

Writ Petition stands disposed of, with liberty to the Petitioner to avail of the remedies available in law.
