This writ petition seeks to challenge the order dated 31st August, 2016 passed in Original Application No. 490 of 2013 by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Mumbai Bench. 2.

From the records, it appears that the Writ Petition was filed on 16th January, 2017 and was not prosecuted thereafter. The direction issued by the Tribunal in its order dated 31st August, 2016 was that, the respondent Authorities should keep the case of the applicant for compassionate appointment alive, for two more years and consider his case in the light of Government's instructions vide DOPT OM 14014/19/2002-Estt (D) dated 5th May, 2003.

On such facts, this Writ Petition No. 11669 of 2017 cannot be entertained and is dismissed.
