This is an application for condonation of delay of 896 days caused in filing criminal appeal against the judgment and order dated 31.5.2019 passed in Sessions Case No. 24 of 2017 by the Additional Sessions Judge, Majalgaon, district Beed. The applicant has mentioned in the application that he was not aware about the facility of legal aid for preferring the appeal. He has stated that he is from a poor family and he is from below poverty line. Considering this submission, we are inclined to condone the delay. However, at the same time, the jail authorities are required to take steps to ensure that the prisoners are aware of their rights and facilities like legal aid etc. Hence, the following order:-

O R D E R

Delay of 896 days caused in fling criminal appeal is condoned.
