1] Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No. 0196 of 2024, registered at Shiradhon Police Station, Tq. Kallamb, District Dharashiv, for the offences punishable under sections 420, 409, 465, 467 and 471 of Indian Penal Code.

3] The case against the applicant as reflected from the F.I.R. is that the applicant was working as the post master for the period of 2015 to 2018. During this period he misappropriated various amount from various customers by accepting the amounts from the customers and showing the same in their passbook, however by not depositing the same

63.25 ABA in their account. The applicant has committed an embezzlement of total amount of Rs. 19,56,499/- from Sukanya Samruddhi accounts, saving accounts, fix deposits, recurring deposits, COD. The applicant also re-deposited the amount of Rs. 7,02,448/- and still amount of Rs. 12,54,051/- is outstanding.

4] The statement of the customers who have deposited the embezzled amount are recorded. The witnesses have stated that the amounts are collected by the applicant and shown it in their pass-book entry. However, has not deposited the same, in their account. 6] Considering the same, this is not a fit case to grant anticipatory bail. Hence the present application is dismissed.

7] It is clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall proceed further in the matter without being influenced by the observations made hereinabove.
