Heard learned counsel for the applicant Shri Wani. Perused the order of the learned trial Court and the Appellate Court. 2.

The learned trial Court convicted the applicant under Sections 500 and 501 of the I.P.C. and sentenced him to undergo S.I. for one month and to pay a fne of Rs. 500/- ( Rs. Five Hundred only ) in default to undergo simple imprisonment for 10 (ten) days. The learned Appellate Court has confrmed the order. However, the learned Appellate Court has not given any reasoning. It has decided the appeal only in one paragraph. To say the least, the order of the Appellate Court is cryptic. 946-cra-16-22.odt

In view of this I am inclined to suspend the substantive sentence. Hence the order :

ORDER

(i) Substantive sentence of the applicant is suspended till the disposal of the revision.

(ii) Applicant be released on P.R. Bond of Rs. 15,000/- with one solvent surety in the like amount . Bail in the trial court. (iii) Issue notice to the respondent, returnable on 01.03.2022. [M.G. SEWLIKAR, J.] shp/- 946-cra-16-22.odt
