Heard Mr. Yogesh Bobade, learned Counsel holding for Mr. Hawale, learned Counsel for the petitioner. As a very limited grievance is raised in the petition and accordingly consequent prayer is made seeking direction to decide the proposals submitted to the District Supply Officer, Osmanabad i.e. i.e. respondent No.3 through Tahasildar, Paranda, District Osmanabad i.e. respondent No.4, the petition is taken up for disposal at the admission stage.

Notice to respondents made returnable forthwith. Learned Additional Government Pleader waives notice for all the respondents.

Our attention was invited to the document placed on record at Page No.30 to submit that the respondent No.4 forwarded a proposal to District Supply Officer alongwith necessary documents for grant of new Fair Price Shop in the village Bawachi, Taluka Paranda, District Osmanabad. Perusal of the said document shows that there are as many as five applicants who are in the capacity of either President of Mahila Bachat Gat or Member of Grampanchayat, submitted their proposals on 27.03.2018 alongwith necessary documents. The proposals are pending before the Authority till date of filing of the petition.

In view of these facts, the petition is disposed of with directions to respondent No.3 to decide the proposal dated 02.05.2018 submitted to him as expeditiously as possible and not later than 16 weeks from the date of receipt of the order of this Court.
