PER COURT :- The petitioner is praying for issuance of directions to consider his proposal for regularization of encroachment allegedly committed over the land belonging to the village Panchayat. In view of the decision of the Honourable Supreme Court in the Civil Appeal No.1132/2011 in the matter of Jaspal Singh & others Versus State of Punjab and others decided on 28th January, 2011, as well as the Government resolution dated 12th July, 2011, the encroachments made over the Government land or the land prescribed for public utility or public purposes or land prescribed for village community, shall not be regularized. The prayer made by the petitioner is not liable to be considered. The Writ Petition is rejected.
