We have heard Mr. Jadhavar, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr. Patil, learned Addl. G. P. for Respondent No. 1. 2.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner belongs to Rajput Bhamta caste. The same is classified as Other Backward Class in the Central list. By mistake, the petitioner had annexed the caste certificate showing Rajput Bhamta in VJ-A category. The respondents be directed to consider the case of the petitioner for admission from OBC category with respondent No. 2. 3.

Mr. Patil, learned Addl. G. P. submits that it was the mistake of the petitioner in not annexing the caste certificate from OBC category.

2 63-wp 812-2021.odt Upon instructions, the learned Addl. G. P. submits that, in case, the petitioner submits OBC caste certificate, the petitioner would be considered for the ensuing rounds.

In the light of the above, we pass the following order. 5.

The petitioner shall submit Other Backward Class certificate with the concerned authority immediately. The authority shall thereafter consider the petitioner for admission from OBC category for the ensuing rounds. The petitioner may submit the said OBC caste certificate online, so also in physical form if required. The persons who are already admitted shall not be disturbed.

Writ petition accordingly is disposed of. No costs. 7.
