By this application, the applicants/appellants are seeking review of the judgment and order dated 16.12.2021 passed in First Appeal No.48/2006.

Mr. Patil, learned Advocate appearing for the applicants submits that he has apprehension that Clause No.V of the operative part is likely to be misinterpreted to mean that the applicants are not entitled for the interest on enhanced compensation for the period prior to the date of judgment of this court.

It is clarified that this Court has in clear terms allowed the appeal filed by the claimants for enhanced compensation. It is made clear that the enhanced compensation amount as per this Court's order dated 16.12.2021 shall carry interest as directed by the Tribunal from the date of filing of the claim petition.
