The application is filed for anticipatory bail. Both the sides are heard.

This Court has perused the papers of investigation and particularly statement of daughter of deceased, who is aged about 13 years. The deceased was given in marriage about 16 years prior to the date of incident, to the son of the applicant. The applicant is the mother of the husband of deceased and she is aged about 67 years 3.

There are allegations that the husband and his relatives were asking the deceased to see that the land

-:(2):- standing in the name of her father is transferred in her name as she has no brother. There are allegations that due to that demand, there was harassment to the deceased and she was mentally disturbed. She committed suicide by jumping into well. The statements of witnesses show that she was mentally disturbed and for 24 hours somebody was required to attend her. Unfortunately, at the relevant time there was nobody to attend her and then she committed suicide.

In view of the nature of allegations against the applicant, this Court holds that protection needs to be given to the Applicant. The applicant is a lady. 4.

In the result, application is allowed. Interim relief granted in her favour is confirmed.
