The applicant apprehends her arrest in connection with Crime No. 26 of 2016 registered with Murud Police Station, District Latur for offences punishable under sections 406, 418, 420, 468 of the Indian Penal Cod and section 3 of Maharashtra Protection of Interest of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, 1999.

FIR is lodged by Amar Pundlikrao Nade alleging that in Murud branch of Aditya Multi State Co-operative Credit Society Ltd., Pune, he had kept total amount of Rs.7,65,000/-. On maturity, the said amount is not disbursed to him, and

therefore, the managing committee members of the said society and its employees have committed offence. 3.

Heard learned advocate for the applicant and learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State. Perused the investigation papers.

Charge-sheet is filed in the present case, and the case is numbered as Special Case No.1 of 2016. The applicant is shown as accused No.7 in the said charge-sheet. 5.

The applicant was the Director of the said Cooperative Credit Society, and she has tendered her resignation, which was accepted in meeting dated 28/01/2014. 6.

Prima facie, there does not appear any active involvement of the applicant in commission of alleged offence, and in view of filing of charge-sheet, the applicant deserves protection.

In the result, application is allowed. In the event of arrest of applicant in connection with Crime No. 26 of 2016 registered with Murud Police Station, District Latur for offences punishable under sections 406, 418, 420, 468 of the Indian Penal Code and section 3 of Maharashtra Protection of Interest

of Depositors (In Financial Establishment) Act, the applicant shall be released on bail on executing Personal Bond of Rs.15,000/- with one surety in the like amount. The applicant shall attend the trial.
