Since the order dated 22.12.1998 is sought to be challenged by this petition filed on 16.01.2018, I expressed a view, after hearing the learned Advocate for the Petitioner on 07.02.2018, that this petition cannot be entertained.

The learned Advocate had sought an adjournment and today, submits, on instructions, that the Petitioner desires to withdraw this petition and resort to such a remedy as may be permissible in law. Considering the above, this Writ Petition is disposed of as withdrawn.

It is made clear that this Court has not created any liberty for the Petitioner and in the event, the Petitioner opts for a remedy, whether, such remedy is permissible or not, would be considered by the Court dealing with the said proceedings.
