This petition is filed on 15th January, 2021. The learned Advocate for the petitioner submits that prayer clause 'B' has been inadvertently copied and pasted and hence be deleted. Deletion granted, to be carried out forthwith.

This petition need not be kept pending in the light of the order passed by the Hon'ble Supreme Court dated 1st December, 2021 in Civil Appeal No(S). 7323 of 2021 filed by the State of Maharashtra through the Secretary, Revenue and Forest Department & ors Vs. Balwant Raghu Nalawade & Ors., which reads as under:- 'Consequently, the appeal fails and stands wp1937.21.odt

dismissed. We consider appropriate to direct that let the State of Maharashtra-appellant(s) make appropriate compliance and benefits be extended to all the employees (not only to the respondents herein but all the other employees who are similarly situated).' 3.

Since the above order was passed on 1st December, 2021, the petitioner would be granted the same benefits, subject to his eligibility.

In view of the above, this petition is disposed off. 5.

We except the State of Maharashtra to consider the case of the petitioner insofar as his eligibility is concerned and implement the directions of the Hon'ble Supreme Court reproduced above, on or before 30th August, 2022.
