ORAL ORDER :

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that, the petitioner is appointed in the year 1997. The caste claim of the petitioner is forwarded to the Committee for validation. The same is pending since the year 2013.

We have heard Mr. Ghatge, learned counsel for respondent No.3 and the learned A.G.P. for respondent Nos.1 and 2.

Writ Petition No.1050/2016 3.

Considering the above, we pass the following order : The Committee shall decide the caste validation proceedings in respect of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of six months from today. The respondents shall not take any adverse action against the petitioner only on the ground that the validation proceedings are pending. Writ Petition accordingly stands disposed of. No costs.
