2] There is a consensus amongst the learned counsel appearing for the parties that respondent no.4 can be directed to take a decision on the proposal for sanction of leave encashment to the petitioner.

3] In that view of the matter, we direct respondent no.4 to take a decision on the proposal

2 27-989-16.odt dated 12th July, 2015 for sanction of leave encashment to the petitioner, in accordance with the relevant procedure, rules, policy etc., as expeditiously as possible, however, within a period of eight weeks from today.

4] The Writ Petition stands disposed of in the above terms.
