Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the validation proceeding in respect of the caste claim of the petitioner is pending since the year 2015 with the Committee. The same is not yet decided. The result of the petitioner of the final year B.E. (Mechanical) is withheld.

In light of that, we pass the following order. 3.

The petitioner shall appear before the Scrutiny Committee on 14.02.2022. The committee shall thereafter decide the proceedings expeditiously, preferably within a period of four (04) months from the date of appearance of the petitioner.

In case the petitioner is otherwise eligible, respondent nos. 3 and 4 shall not withhold the result of the of petitioner of the final year B.E. (Mechanical) examination only on the ground that validation proceeding is pending.

The degree shall not be issued unless the petitioner produces validity certificate.

The petitioner will not be entitled for further benefits of reservation unless the petitioner produces validity certificate. 7.

The parties may take further steps depending upon the judgment that will be delivered by the committee in the validation proceeding 8.

The writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
