The petitioner has recently retired from service. He was selected and appointed on a post that was reserved for S.T. category. He claims to be belonging to Mannervarlu S.T. His proceedings for seeking validation of his claim are pending since July, 2022, in the backdrop of his earlier proposal, having been rejected on account of a spelling mistake in his tribe certificate. 2.

The learned A.G.P. submits on instructions that as the proposal is pending from July, 2022 and the vigilance enquiry is in progress, the claim of the petitioner would be decided within six months. 3.

In view of the above statement, this petition is disposed off. As the payment of pension is yet to commence, we direct the committee to decide the claim of the petitioner, on or before 15.06.2023.
