There is grievance raised in this petition that election for the post of Up-Sarpanch is not conducted by the Sarpanch. The petitioner have already approached the District Collector, Beed.

We direct the District Collector, Beed to ensure that election for the post of Up-Sarpanch is declared and conducted as expeditiously as possible, however within four weeks from today. If the concern Sarpanch refuses to conduct the election within four weeks, in that case the District Collector, Beed shall appoint other Presiding Officer, who may be employee from his office or from the Office of the Tahasildar, and direct to conduct such elections within four weeks from today. The entire

With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
