1] Heard learned counsel for the applicant and the learned APP for the respondent-State.

2] The applicant is apprehending arrest in connection with Crime No.280/2024, registered at Ambajogai [Rural] Police Station, Dist. Beed, for the offence punishable under Section 20 (b) of N.D.P.S. Act. 3] The police has recovered the contraband i.e. ganja of 120.83 kg. which is inclusive of stem, leaves and seeds from the accused persons. The accused no.1 has stated in his statement before the police that the said contraband was procured at the instance of the present applicant.

81.25ABA 4] The learned APP submits that the dealer is absconding. The present applicant has transmitted the amount of Rs.6,81,000/- to the dealer towards procurement of Ganja through Grahak Seva Kendra. The statement of owner of Grahak Seva Kendra is also recorded. 5] Prima faice, there is involvement of the applicant in the alleged crime. Custodial interrogation of the applicant is necessary in the matter. As such, this is not a case to grant anticipatory bail in favour of the applicant. Hence, the present application is dismissed.

6] It is clarified that the observations made in this order are limited to the disposal of the present anticipatory bail application and the trial Court shall not be influenced by the observations of this Court while deciding regular bail or at trial.
