Mr. Thombre, learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned A.G.P. for respondent No. 1 and Mr. Narwadkar, learned counsel for respondent No. 2 submits that the petitioner-society is similarly situated as the petitioners in Writ Petition No. 8886 of 2018 with connected Writ Petitions decided under the judgment and order dated 05.11.2018.

In the light of that, we follow the same course. 3.

The board may consider the application of the petitioners for grant of affiliation. The petitioners shall make fresh application for affiliation for the academic year 2020-2021. The Board may conduct the inspection and may take decision on the application of the petitioners for affiliation on its own merits considering all relevant aspects of the matter within a period of three months. In case the decision is taken in favour of the petitioners by the respondent then that will enure to the benefit of the petitioners for the next academic year 2020-2021 as may be permissible according to the perspective plan.

Writ petitions are disposed of. No costs.
