Since none appeared for the Petitioner on 06/06/2018, I have posted the matter today. None appears even today.

Learned counsel for the L.R.s. of Respondent No. 1 submits that as this Petition has been abated as against Respondent Nos. 2 to 18, nothing survives in this matter. In identical circumstances, this Court, by order dated 26/03/2012, has abated entire Writ Petition No. 23/1996, as it stood abated against Respondent Nos. 2,3,4,7 & 8 and since, the decree in question was joint and several and could not be segregated.

Considering the same, this Petition stands abated. Rule is discharged.
