The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, validation proceeding is pending. Same is not decided. The petitioner is desirous of taking admission to the IInd year engineering course from reserved category.

The learned Assistant Government Pleader submits that, the proposal has been filed for validation only on 16th December, 2020.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the delay in forwarding the proposal is at the behest of the college. The petitioner also could have independently filed proposal seeking validation of his tribe claim.

It is submitted that, vigilance is not yet conducted. 5.

In view of the above, we pass the following order. 6.

The petitioner may appear before the Committee on 22.01.2021. Considering the fact that, the petitioner is a student, the committee shall endeavour to decide the proceeding on its own merits, in accordance with law, expeditiously and preferably within a period of three (03) weeks from the date of appearance of the petitioner before the Committee.

In the light of the above, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
