Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. 2.

The petitioner had filed application for cancellation of mutation entry after the period of more than 10 years. The application for delay condonation was rejected by the authority below. Mutation entries are merely for fiscal purpose and would be subject to outcome of the civil proceedings. I see no reason to interfere in the orders passed by the authorities below. The writ petition is dismissed. The petitioner is at liberty to approach the Civil Court.
