Mr.Dhakne, learned counsel submits that petitioners are entitled for the pay-scale of a trained primary teacher from their initial date of appointment till passing of the postal D.Ed. According to the learned counsel, in case of similarly situated teachers, the Respondent No.2 has passed an order giving such benefit to them, however, the said benefit is not yet accorded to the petitioners. The petitioners have filed representation to the Respondent No.2 for grant of trained primary teachers pay-scale and payment of arrears of salary as per the said scale. However, the

said representation is not considered nor decided by the Respondent No.2 as yet. According to the learned counsel, this Court also has passed orders directing similarly situated petitioners, benefit of trained primary teachers pay-scale.

The learned Asstt. Govt. Pleader submits that in case the representation is pending, the Respondent No.2 would decide the said representation on its own merits as per law. 4.

As the representation filed by the petitioners is pending with the Respondent No.2, we are not entering into the merits of the contentions canvassed by the learned counsel. The Respondent No.2 shall decide the representation made by the petitioners (Exh.H) after considering the legal position and the various orders passed expeditiously, preferably within six (6)months from the date of this order. The petitioners are entitled to place before Respondent No.2 all such orders relied by the petitioners. 5.
