Petitioner has tendered an undertaking on record. Same is accepted and marked 'X' for identification.

Petitioner contends that after expiry of period of lease under the registered agreement executed on 17.02.2011, a proposal has been tendered to the Municipal Corporation for granting extension of lease. Petitioner expects Municipal Corporation to consider his request positively and, if necessary, obtain necessary approval from the State Government. In any case, no adverse action be taken against petitioner until end of April 2016. 3.

In the event of favourable consideration of proposal tendered by petitioner, he may have entitlement to continue to occupy the premises in accordance with the fresh agreement. In the event of denial of the claim of

wp807.12.doc petitioner by Municipal Corporation, he shall have to vacate the premises by the end of April, 2016. In the event of failure of petitioner to vacate the premises by the end of April, 2016, it would be open for the Municipal Corporation to adopt coercive means and secure possession of the premises.
