Learned counsel submits that the petitioners had filed an application seeking non-agricultural permission under Section 44 of the Maharashtra Land Revenue Code. The same is received by the authority on 30.7.2016. No decision is taken on it as yet.

In case the application is filed by the petitioner (Exh. 'A') and same is pending with respondent/authority, then the respondent/authority shall decide the same on its own merits, expeditiously, in accordance with law, preferably within four months from today.
