Since the joint measurement of the affected lands is being undertaken, this Writ Petition is disposed off with the following directions:- (a) The joint measurement shall be completed within a period of 30 days from today.

(( 2 )) 49-WP-1019-2024 (b) After the joint measurement, the measurement report shall be tendered by the appropriate authority to Respondent No.4, within a period of 15 days.

(c) On completing the above procedure, appropriate procedure for acquisition shall be initiated if the lands of the Petitioners are found to be utilized in the public project, in the light of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013.

(d) Needless to state, the pending proposal would be taken to fruition, if there is no legal impediment.
