In the communication dated 14/01/2022, tendered before this Court, it is stated that the petition 4499/1997 shall be withdrawn. The said communication is taken on record and marked as "X" for identification. The learned counsel for the petitioner orally states that in the wake of the compromise effected between the parties, the said communication is issued.
