The applicant, who is 65 years old, is seeking regular bail in Crime No. 203 of 2015 registered with Udgir (Rural) Police Station, District Latur, for the offence punishable under Sections 307, 324, 498(A), 504, 506 read with Section 34 of the Indian Penal Code. 2.

The investigation in the matter is still going on. There is evidence depicting prima facie involvement of the applicant in the crime in question as is apparent from the statement of neighbour.

In my opinion, it will not be appropriate to grant protection to the applicant by ordering release on bail at this stage. 4.

Since there is prima facie evidence against the applicant, the application stands rejected.
