The parties have arrived at amicable settlement to the extent of laying down the pipeline from land Gat No.20. The terms of settlement is worked out by the petitioners and the respondent Nos. 3 and 4. The terms of the compromise are verified through the Registrar (Judicial) of this Court and a report to that effect is also filed on record. The said compromise is taken on record and marked "X" for identification. 2.

In para 16 of the writ petition, it is specifically stated that the respondent Nos. 5 to 16 are the formal parties, as the petitioners are not seeking any relief against them in this writ petition. Therefore, the compromise is effected in respect of petitioners and the respondent Nos. 3 and 4 respectively. In view of this, writ petition is disposed of in terms of compromise, as aforesaid.
