This contempt petition is filed for non-compliance of order dated 17/7/2013, passed ion Writ Petition No.3171/2012, which reads as under :

In the facts and circumstances of this case, this petition can be disposed of with directions to the respondents, more specifically to the State Government, to take a decision in the matter with further directions to respondents no.4 and 5 to

ensure allotment of land on consideration of the eligibility of the petitioner, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of 6 months from today. Writ petition stands disposed of." 2.

It is submitted by learned Advocate for the petitioner that, the claim of the petitioner was considered and rejected on 2/1/2023.

There is no dispute that the petitioner has remedy before the appropriate forum to challenge the order by which his claim has been turned down. The validity of the said order cannot be gone into in the Contempt Petition. Hence, the Contempt Petition stands disposed of.
