The learned counsel submits that the election petition fled by the petitioner is pending with the learned Civil Judge Junior Division since 2017. The same is not yet decided.

According to the learned counsel for the petitioner the suit is at the stage of issues and the election petition is required to be decided expeditiously within six months.

The learned Government Pleader appears for respondents No. 1 and

2. Mr Kadethankar, the learned counsel appears for respondent No.3. We are not aware about the number of matters pending before the learned Civil Judge Junior Division.

No doubt, the election petitions have to be decided expeditiously. The petitioner may make an application to the learned Civil Judge Junior Division where the matter is pending for deciding the matter expeditiously. The learned Civil Judge Junior Division shall consider the said application and take appropriate steps. It shall also consider that the election petitions are to be decided expeditiously. 5.

Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
