The petitioner is taking exception to the order passed by the Maharashtra Administrative Tribunal dated 28.02.2022 in original application no.26/2021, whereby his application seeking direction for considering his name for the promotional post was dismissed by observing that a sealed cover procedure was being followed and the petitioner's interests were protected.

In the light of the fact that subsequent to the filing of this petition, the disciplinary inquiry has been concluded, learned advocate for the petitioner, on instructions, seeks leave to withdraw the writ petition with liberty to resort to appropriate steps in the light of such supervening events.
